Samba, Apr 13: A free medical camp was organized in primary health centre, Gurha Slathian by villages uplift committee, with the cooperation of Director, Health Services, Jammu.
The camp was inaugurated by Chief Medical Officer, Samba Madhu Khullar. As many as 500 patients were registered for various check ups like Gynae, Children diseases, Ortho, Eye, Heart and Chest diseases. In the camp facilities like X-ray, Ultra sound, E.C.G, blood test, urine test, sugar test etc were conducted free of cost.
Medicines were also distributed as per need of the patients and as advised by specialist doctors examining the patients.
The patients appreciated the efforts of V.P Sharma, President of committee and his team. About 80 ultrasound tests were conducted, 30 X-rays were taken, 50 E.C.Gs were taken relieving the patients of financial burden.
