| Samba police arrests absconder evading arrest for last 11 years | | |  Early Times Report
SAMBA, Feb 24: In continuation to its drive against the Absconders/Criminals, Samba Police apprehended an absconder who was wanted in a case FIR registered at Police Station Ghagwal during the year 2014.
A Police team of Police Station Ghagwal headed by SHO PS Ghagwal under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Samba and under the overall supervision of SSP Samba succeeded in apprehending an absconder namely Abdul Rasid S/o Mohd Yaqoob R/o Kansi Patta tehsil and district Reasi wanted in case FIR No. 02/2014 U/S 188 RPC, 2/3 PCA Act registered at PS Ghagwal. The said accused was evading his arrest since 2014 after the commission of the crime.
Accordingly, the said absconder was produced in the court of law and the arrest warrant u/s 512 CrPC issued against him got executed. |
