DODA, Feb 24: The Jammu and Kashmir Police, District Doda, under the supervision of SSP Doda Sandeep Mehta (JKPS), paid rich tributes to Shaheed Dy.SP Aman Thakur on the solemn occasion of his 6th martyrdom anniversary. A tribute ceremony was organized at District Police Lines (DPL) Doda to honor his sacrifice and service to the nation.
The main function, held at the District Headquarters, was led by SSP Doda Sandeep Mehta, along with SP (OPS) Sunil Kesar, Dy.SP Hqrs Doda Ajay Kumar Anand, and other officers. The officials laid wreaths at the Martyrs' Memorial in DPL Doda as a mark of respect.
Speaking on the occasion, SSP Doda lauded Dy.SP Aman Thakur's unwavering commitment to duty and his valiant service on the anti-terror front. He emphasized that Thakur's dedication and sacrifice earned him the prestigious Shaurya Chakra, a testament to his extraordinary bravery and contribution to national security.
