The Minister of State for Power and Health Peerzada Mohammed Hussain was today accorded rousing reception on his arrival here. He ahs been inducted for the first time in the Congress coalition ministry and held senior position in PDP.
At the airport he was received by senior party leaders comprising T.S. Bajwa member Parlliament, MS Tariq, Shanti Devi (MLA), Remesh Kaul, Surjeet Kaur, fallail Singh, Iqbal Malik, Ashok Kumar, Renu Azad, R.K. Bali, Chuni Lal Dogra, Keerath, mumtaz Kauser, Shamshad Shan, Manjit Singh, Niramal Singh, Harmeet Singh, Romail Jaggi, Sohel Sharma, Balbir Singh and Baldev.
From, airport, Ministry straightway drove to party head office Gandhi Nagar where he was warmly received by party cadre.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister disclosed that coalition government would lay emphasis on three main things of Power Generation, Power Transmission and reduce Power losses. He said that electronic meters would be installed in all the housed to ensure availability of power round the clock. He said that this was being dome to ease the living conditions of the people.
The Minister further said that present coalition government was committed to bring all round development in the state working vigorously for the same within the frameworks of the Indian Constitution. He said that his party was completely dedicated for restoration of peace and normalcy and for the purpose it would endeavour to take forward the peace process.
