| Congress organizes road show | | | Early Times Report Jammu, April 13: In connection with ongoing campaign in favour of party candidate Madan lal Sharma, Congress leaders today organized road shows and held meetings at various places in Raipur Domana. Road show and series of meetings were organized by former minister Mula Ram which started from Paloura and culminated at Muthi. Enroute meetings were held at Paloura, Roop Nagar, Chinor, Bantalab, Rajpura, Kot, Kangar, Bhalwal, Kadwanda, Seri Pandita, Amb, Garota, Sobka, Marjali, Dumi Malpur, Domana and Muthi. Minister for Health Sham Lal Sharma while addressing the meetings said that Congress and its allies can only provide stable government at the Centre. He further said that Congress has its cherished history of secularism and always worked for strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and communal harmony. Former Minister Mula Ram in his address said about the achievements made by the Congress government led by former minister Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad in the state. He said that Congress led UPA government at the Centre had provided able Prime Minister Manmohan Singh under whose leadership India has progressed a lot and when the number of the countries of the world are facing economic crisis India is still progressing and there is a hope of 7 per cent economic growth for the year 2009-2010. Other Congress leaders who also addressed meetings include Hari Singh Chairman Congress labour cell, NC leader Sat Pal Kalotra Ex MLA, Rajni Bala corporator, Uttam Singh, Subash Bhagat, Dhanatar Singh, Raj Dev Singh and K. D. Singh.
