| Indian Army established outdoor Open-Air Gym | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 27: White Knight Gunners of Indian Army in coordination with civil administration established Outdoor Open-Air Gym for people of Nagrota village, Jammu under Operation Sadhbhavna. Outdoor gym is an excellent platform to improve physical fitness of people of all age groups. It will assist the people to do physical exercise close to their home. Outdoor gym in open air allows for workout similar to fitness centres in the lap of nature. These types of gyms are hit amongst all age groups. Children plan playful activities around them and elderly get some much-needed strength training.
Keeping in view the importance of maintaining high standards of mental & physical health and request for establishing an Open-Air Gym was brought out by the people of Nagrota via Sarpanch and other civil functionaries to White Knight Gunners. On scrutiny and understanding the importance of the requirement brought out, White Knight Gunners got the Open-Air Gym equipment installed in the area provided by the village sarpanch and officials. The project was accomplished under Operation Sadbhavna.
The Outdoor open-air gym was inaugurated and handed over to the people of village Nagrota, district Jammu. Sarpanch and other civil functionaries were present during the event. At the same time, people appreciated this event. They said that along with the security of the country, the Indian Army is also working for public welfare. People expressed gratitude to the White Knight Gunners of the Indian Army. |
