Congress’ student body appeals for votes

Jammu, Apr 13- Criticizing the BJP and PDP for playing with the sentiments of the innocent people, the NSUI President Abdul Rashid Choudhray has said that these parties have played havoc and misled the people in name of religion and region.
Addressing media persons here today he said that these political parties for their petty political interest play with the sentiments of the people and added that the people are wise enough to understand their game plan. He said that people this time would not be misled and will support the Congress Party and elect their representatives. He appealed to the youth and students to vote in mass in favour of Congress candidates in the ongoing elections.
NSUI president at length dwelled on the achievements of the UPA Government at the Centre and the schemes launched for the benefit of the common masses. He asked the people to fully support Madan Lal Sharma who is contesting from Jammu –Poonch Constituency and Ch. Lal Singh who is contesting from Kathua-Doda constituency. He said that both these MPs have been rated among the 12 best MPs in the Parliament. They have raised maximum issues and have great acumen and zeal to work for the welfare of the people of the state.
He said that both these MP’s have actually become the voice of the people. They have always stood by the right cause and worked for the utmost welfare of the people. No area of their constituencies/parliamentary area are left where they haven’t visited at least once.
Other who spoke on the occasion were, Raj Kamal Arya, Charanjeet Singh Chicku, Arjun Singh Pathania, Sushant Gupta and Abishel Koushal.
