CW Bhagwati Nagar organizes enthralling Carrom Competition

JAMMU, Mar 1: The Department of Sports and Physical Education, Government College for Women (GCW) Bhagwati Nagar, successfully organized an exciting Carrom Competition under the patronage of Principal Dr. Meeru Abrol. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, promoting sportsmanship and strategic thinking among students.
Under the supervision of Prof. Goyal Giri (PTI), the competition featured intense matches, culminating in a thrilling final showdown between Team Chenab and Team Tawi. After a closely contested battle, Team Chenab, comprising Meenakshi and Anjali, emerged victorious, showcasing excellent coordination and strategic gameplay.
Addressing the participants, Dr. Meeru Abrol commended the organizing team and encouraged students to actively participate in extracurricular activities. She emphasized the importance of indoor games like carrom in developing concentration and analytical skills. Prof. Goyal Giri also lauded the participants' enthusiasm and assured that more sporting events would be organized to promote holistic development.
The competition concluded with the felicitation of winners, celebrating their talent and dedication. GCW Bhagwati Nagar continues its commitment to nurturing sports and physical education, providing students with platforms to excel beyond academics.
