JAMMU, Mar 1: Adv. Rattan Lal Gupta, Provincial President of Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC), today lauded the profound spiritual devotion witnessed across the Jammu region during the ongoing Maha Shivratri celebrations. Describing the atmosphere as imbued with the divine grace of Bhagwan Shiva, he praised the unwavering faith of the people, which has transformed the entire region into a hub of religious fervor. He expressed these sentiments while participating in a Bhandara organized by Jia Lal Gupta AEE Rtd and his team from Greater Khailash and Mr Vijay Lochan Chairman SC Cell and Mr Rakesh Singh Raka Vice President Central Zone were also participated in connection with Maha Shivratri at Greater Kailash Bypass area in Jammu. The event saw an overwhelming turnout of devotees, who thronged the venue to seek blessings and partake in the communal spirit of the festival. The senior NC leader highlighted that such gatherings symbolize the unity and spiritual richness of Jammu, showcasing the people's deep-rooted adherence to Sanatan Dharma. "Since the commencement of Maha Shivratri, the celebrations have been marked by devotion and enthusiasm across the Jammu region. Temples are resonating with chants of 'Har Har Mahadev,' and the devotion displayed by the people is truly commendable," he stated. The Provincial President also emphasized the significance of preserving the cultural and religious heritage of the region. He called upon the people to actively participate in such festivals to strengthen their bond with the age-old traditions of J&K. Rattan Lal Gupta further mentioned that Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Party President of JKNC, also participated in the Maha Shivratri celebrations at Shiv Mandir, Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu ON Feb 26th. He appreciated Dr. Abdullah's gesture as a message of harmony and secularism that JKNC has always championed. "Our Party President's participation is a reflection of JKNC's commitment to uphold the religious and cultural fabric of Jammu and Kashmir," he added. Rattan Lal Gupta also extended greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri, praying for peace, prosperity, and communal harmony in the Union Territory.
