MAJALTA, Mar 3: A lecture on "NITI Aayog and NITI for States: Transforming India's Development Journey" was delivered by Dr. Irshad Ahmad Reshi at Government Degree College, Majalta. The session offered valuable insights into India's policy-making framework and its role in national and state-level development. The event was conducted under the leadership of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Shalini Sharma, who emphasized the importance of discussions on economic and governance models. Prof. Rakesh introduced the speaker, setting the stage for an engaging discourse.
Dr. Reshi explained the objectives, functions, and impact of NITI Aayog, highlighting its role in cooperative federalism, strategic planning, and innovation-driven governance. He also discussed the NITI for States initiative, which focuses on strengthening state-level planning and policy implementation.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Lone, who expressed gratitude to Dr. Reshi and all attendees. The event was coordinated by Prof. Rakesh and Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Lone.
