The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from all staff members and students of the school.
The plantation drive, conducted under the visionary leadership of Dr. Sonia Verma, Director/CEO of SGWF, aimed at enhancing green cover and raising environmental awareness among students and locals. A variety of saplings, including fruit-bearing trees, medicinal plants, and shade-providing species, were planted within the school premises as part of SGWF's ongoing 'Adopt a Tree' campaign.
Reeta Verma, National President of SGWF, highlighted the importance of ceremonial plantation drives in connecting communities to nature and inspiring collective responsibility towards environmental conservation. She emphasized that such initiatives help cultivate a sense of respect for trees and nature among the younger generation.
