Indian Army Organised an Interaction with Ex-Servicemen

DODA, Mar 4: A special event titled "Meeting with Ex-Servicemen" was organized by the Indian Army at Dugga. This gathering aimed to bring together ex-servicemen and widows from the surrounding areas of Dugga to address their concerns and honor their service to the nation. The event commenced with a solemn memorial service to pay tribute to the soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice for the country. The gathering was attended by 20 ex-servicemen from nearby villages. An interactive session followed wherein the Indian Army engaged with the attendees. The discussions revolved around understanding the challenges faced by ex-servicemen and their families post-retirement. The attendees were provided with guidance on various welfare initiatives, including education, healthcare, and employment opportunities for their dependents. They were assured of continued support and encouraged to reach out for assistance in resolving any grievances in the future.
