DODA, Mar 4: A special event titled "Meeting with Ex-Servicemen" was organized by the Indian Army at Dugga. This gathering aimed to bring together ex-servicemen and widows from the surrounding areas of Dugga to address their concerns and honor their service to the nation. The event commenced with a solemn memorial service to pay tribute to the soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice for the country. The gathering was attended by 20 ex-servicemen from nearby villages. An interactive session followed wherein the Indian Army engaged with the attendees. The discussions revolved around understanding the challenges faced by ex-servicemen and their families post-retirement. The attendees were provided with guidance on various welfare initiatives, including education, healthcare, and employment opportunities for their dependents.
