MSME DFO Jammu organized hosts awareness program

JAMMU, Mar 4: MSME-Development & Facilitation Office a field office of Union Ministry of MSME implements various schemes and activities for the benefit of MSME Sector in Jammu & Kashmir. The activities including Entrepreneurship Awareness Program, Intellectual Property Rights Awareness Program, PM-Vishwakarma Seminar, PM-Vishwakarma Awareness Workshop, Entrepreneurship & Skill Development Program, Management Development Program, Reimbursement of Barcode Expenditure, Reimbursement of Stall Charges, To and From Charges, Advertising Expenditure for participating in 250 exhibition or trade fairs approved by Union Ministry of MSME. The lists of approved exhibitions are available in https://my.msme.gov.in/MyMsme/Reg/COM_ViewEvent.aspx An awareness program on LEAN competitive scheme of Union Ministry of MSME was conducted in association with Association of Small Scale Industries Gangyal at Gangyal, Jammu for encouraging the MSMEs of the region manufacturing products of world class qualities with minimum wastages in manufacturing process like improvement in storage of raw material, arrangement of tools, placing of machineries according to scientific layout, material handling, optimizing the work force, storage of Finished goods, conducting Motion study etc., Union Ministry of MSME provides subsidy from 12 Lakhs to 32 Lakhs for any LEAN Cluster. Address on LEAN by Sh.Vinod Pandita from Quality Council of India for achieving the said objectives was given. Lecture on Schemes implemented by the field office was delivered by D.K. Tyagi, Assistant Director. Earlier Sh.Virendra Jain, President of the association welcomed the participants and requested to G.Velladurai, Joint Director of MSME DFO Jammu to organize similar programs for the benefit of their members frequently.
