JAMMU, APR 13: Election Commission (EC) has appointed seven Election Observers for J&K State during the first and second phase of the Lok Sabha elections 2009 to redress the grievances of the general public.
For the first phase of polling, scheduled to be held on April 16, Election Observer, Mr. Raj Pratap Singh has been allotted Assembly segments of Samba, Vijaypur, Gandhinagar, Bishnah, R. S. Similarly, Election Observer, Ms. Uma Mukeherejee, has been allotted Assembly segments of Nagrota, Jammu East , Jammu West, Marh, Raipur-Domana, Akhnoor and Chhamb. She can be contacted on Mobile No: 9906152195 and landline No: 0191-2505068 at Room No.205, Circuit House, Jammu.
Likewise, Election Observer, Ms. Girja Dayal has been allotted Assembly segments of Nowshera, Darhal, Rajouri and Kalakote and will be available on Mobile No: 9906155167 and landline No: 01962-263568 at Dak Bunglow, Rajouri.
Election Observer, Mr. Anurag Yadav has been allotted Assembly segments of Surankote, Mendhar and Poonch-Haveli would be available on Mobile No: 9906155602 and landline No: 01965-220173 at PDD Guest House, Poonch.
Similarly, for the second phase of polling scheduled for April 23, the Election Observer, Mr. Ramesh Bindurao has been allotted Assembly segments of Bani, Basholi, Kathua, Billawar and Hiranagar and will be available on Mobile No: 9906155618 and landline No: 01922-232505 at PWD, Guest House, Kathua.
The Election Observer, Mr. K. S. S. V. P Reddy allotted Assembly segments of Gulabgarh, Reasi, Gool-Arnas, Udhampur, Chenani and Ramnagar can be contacted on Mobile No: 9906154706 and landline No: 01992-270203 (Telephone/Fax) while as Election Observer, Mr. Jatinder Kumar for allotted Assembly segments of Ramban and Banihal will be available on Mobile No: 9906154701 and landline No: 01998-288013 (Telephone/Fax).
Any person or political party having any grievance regarding violation of Model Code of Conduct, may approach the concerned Election Observer in respect of the Assembly segment in which the polling will be conducted during these phases.
