Rakesh Mahajan chairs meeting on 'One Nation, One Election' at BJP Hqrs

JAMMU, Mar 5: Rakesh Mahajan, Incharge of All Cells, BJP J&K, today conducted a significant meeting at the party headquarters in Jammu to deliberate on the 'One Nation, One Election' initiative.
The meeting witnessed the presence of Ved Sharma, Co-Incharge All Cells, along with senior party leaders including Rajeev Gupta, Dharam Veer Jamwal, Narinder Singh Bunty, Sham Lal Langar, Puneet Mahajan, Kulveer Charak, Ashutosh Gupta, Ashok Khajuria, Ravi Bakshi , Sumit Sharma and Co-Convenors of various Cells.
Rajeev Gupta, Incharge of 'One Nation, One Election' for Jammu and Kashmir, delivered a detailed presentation outlining strategies to create awareness among the public about the initiative. He emphasized the need for a unified approach to ensure that the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi reaches every corner of the Union Territory.
Addressing the gathering, Rakesh Mahajan highlighted that the 'One Nation, One Election' concept reflects PM Modi's vision of streamlining the electoral process to enhance governance and reduce the financial burden on the nation. "The initiative aims to synchronize Lok Sabha and Assembly elections to ensure political stability and faster implementation of welfare schemes," he stated.
He further asserted that the initiative would significantly reduce election-related expenditure and administrative challenges, allowing the government to focus more effectively on development and public welfare.
Rakesh Mahajan urged party cadres to intensify outreach efforts and educate the masses about the long-term benefits of this visionary move.
Rakesh Mahajan also called upon the party workers to counter misinformation campaigns and to disseminate factual information regarding the proposed electoral reforms. "It is our responsibility to ensure that the people of J&K understand how 'One Nation, One Election' will contribute to a stronger and more unified India," he added.
Ved Sharma, Co-Incharge All Cells, directed party functionaries to submit schedule dates for organizing awareness programs in their respective areas. He emphasized a coordinated approach to maximize the impact of these outreach initiatives. "Timely submission of dates and effective execution of these programs will play a crucial role in spreading awareness about this transformative proposal," he remarked.
The meeting concluded with a pledge to mobilize party resources at every level to support the successful implementation of the 'One Nation, One Election' initiative across Jammu and Kashmir.
