| MCM holds visit to Government Museum, Art Gallery, art exhibition | | |  Agencies
CHANDIGARH, Mar 7: The Department of Fine Arts at Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women, Chandigarh, in collaboration with Women Development Cell, organised an entrepreneurship and skill based educational visit to Government Museum and Art Gallery Sector 10, Chandigarh and to 'Kala Nidhi'- a group exhibition at Underpass Sector 17, Chandigarh. Fine Arts faculty members, Dr. Pooja Sharma and Dr. Robina Singh also exhibited their artworks at the exhibition wherein contemporary art works in various mediums by eminent artists of the tricity were displayed. The students got the opportunity to get valuable insights by witnessing the art works in the museum and at the exhibition.
Officiating Principal Ms Suman Mahajan lauded this initiative for providing exposure to the students of Fine Arts, thereby helping them understand the nuances of art.
