JAMMU, Mar 8: The Department of Zoology, Government Degree College, Paloura, organised one day educational trip to the Jambu Zoo, Nagrota. This trip was part of syllabus of B.Sc Semester IV (NEP-2020) under wild life conservation and management. The staff and students of department of Zoology accompanied the trip.
The students were fascinated to have glimpse of the endangered wild animals like Asiatic lion, Royal Bengal tiger, Leopard, Himalayan Black Bear, Leopard Cat, Nilgai, Sambar, Emu etc. The students were also shown a special movie on wildlife conservation by the Jambu Zoo authorities.
The staff and students expressed their sincere thanks to wild life warden and Principal, GDC Paloura for successful conduct of the trip. |
