KC College of Education organized awareness programme

JAMMU, Mar 8: On the occasion of International Women's Day, the NSS Unit of KC College of Education organized an awareness programme on women's health and physical education at KS Public School, Muthi Village. The programme commenced with a welcome address and bouquet presentation to the guest lecturer, Dr. Kamini, medical Officer of AYUSH. Approximately 70 locals participated in the event.
Dr. Kamini delivered a lecture on the topic, emphasizing the importance of women's health, nutrition, and physical education. She also discussed various health issues affecting women, such as menstrual hygiene, reproductive health, and stress management.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks presented by Ms. Priya, PO NSS. Ms. Priya expressed her gratitude to Dr. Kamini, medical officer of Ayush, the Principal of the school, and others involved in making the event a success. She also appreciated the active participation of the students and locals, and encouraged them to spread the awareness about women's health and physical education in their communities.
Dr. Sanjay Tickoo, Principal of KC College of Education, appreciated the efforts of the NSS Unit and praised the initiative taken to promote awareness on women's health and physical education. He emphasized the importance of empowering women through education and awareness, and encouraged the students and locals to take responsibility for their own health and well-being. He also congratulated the NSS Unit for organizing such a meaningful event and assured his continued support for such initiatives in the future."
