LPU claimed the top spot by winning first place in the Theatre and Cultural Procession categories, while securing the Overall Runner-Up position in the Music, Literary, and Fine Arts categories, solidifying its dominance across a range of artistic disciplines. The university's students delivered stellar performances across various categories, earning a total of 18 medals. This included 10 Gold Medals in Non-Percussion, Western Group Dance, Orchestra, Debate, Skit, Mime, Mimicry, On-the-Spot Painting, Poster Making, and the Cultural Procession competition. LPU also secured 4 Silver Medals in Percussion, One-Act Play, Rangoli, and Cartoon Making, alongside 4 Bronze Medals in Light Vocal Solo, Indian Group Song, Elocution, and Classical Dance.
Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Founder Chancellor of LPU, expressed his pride in the students' accomplishments, saying, "It is an honor for LPU to have lifted the AIU trophy for the second year in a row. This victory reflects the relentless hard work and immense talent of our students, who have once again demonstrated their excellence. Such accomplishments emphasize the importance of co-curricular engagement as a crucial component of a well-rounded education. LPU encourages and nurtures co-curricular activities, providing students with valuable platforms to showcase their creativity, sharpen their skills, and grow into leaders who excel not just in academics, but in all aspects of life."
The National Youth Festival, renowned for bringing together the most talented young individuals from across India, was highly competitive this year, and LPU emerged as a powerhouse of talent and cultural vibrancy.
