DARHAL, Mar 10: Government Degree College (GDC) Darhal held an insightful symposium on the "Role of Women in Nation-Building" on its campus, drawing enthusiastic participation from students across all semesters. The event, which emphasized the critical contributions of women to society, was chaired by Principal Zamir Ahmed Mirza.
The symposium featured esteemed guest speakers, including Dr. Sajar Malik from GDC Koteranka and Prof. Abdul Kareem from GDC Surankote, who shared their insights on the pivotal role women play in fostering national development. They were joined by other notable scholars, including Dr. Ghulam Abbas and Dr. Saleem Wani, who contributed to enriching discussions during the event.
The program saw the participation of several faculty members, including Dr. Taseem, Dr. Akhlaq, Dr. Anzaar, Dr. Mukhtar, Dr. Sagir, Dr. Muzammil, Dr. Shahid, Rahul Sangra, Dr. Iqbal Ahmed, and Sumina Begum, all of whom engaged with students and highlighted the importance of women's empowerment in various sectors.
Dr. Ata ur Rehman efficiently conducted the proceedings, ensuring a smooth flow of discussions and interactions throughout the program.
