GLDM Trust provides financial aid to meritorious students

HIRANAGAR, Mar 10: The Girdari Lal Dogra Memorial Trust (GLDM Trust) distributed financial aid under its Merit-cum-Means Scholarship scheme to 49 deserving students of GLDM Govt. Degree College, Hiranagar. The initiative aims to support meritorious students in their academic pursuits.
The scholarships were distributed by Ms. Nidhi Dogra Sharma, daughter of late Sh. Girdhari Lal Dogra, along with Mr. Munish Dogra. Addressing the gathering, Ms. Nidhi Dogra Sharma expressed her deep connection with Hiranagar and encouraged students to strive for academic excellence.
Dr. Pragya Khanna, Principal of the College, welcomed the guests and lauded the Trust's commitment to education. She emphasized its crucial role in empowering students through financial support.
The event was attended by esteemed faculty members, including Prof. Kawaljeet Kour, Prof. Bindu Sharma, Dr. Poonam Kamotra, Prof. Amit Sharma, Dr. Vijay Kumar, Prof. Surinder, Dr. Rajni, Prof. Ganga, Dr. Mukesh Kumar, Prof. Balwinder, and others.
The proceedings were conducted by Prof. Rakesh Sharma, Convener of the Scholarship Committee, while Prof. Neeru Sharma, HOD Environmental Sciences, concluded the event with a vote of thanks.
