| 1 die, three wounded in road mishaps; youth made abortive bid | | | Early Times Report Jammu, April 14 : While one succumbed to his injuries, three sustained wounds in road mishaps, another made abortive bid on his life by consuming poisonous substance at his residence at Plainwala in Akhnoor. Police said that Bindra Ram son of Karam Chand resident of Lower Roop Nagar today succumbed to his injuries at Maha Reshi Daya Nand Hospital at Ambphalla this morning. Police said that Bindra Ram sustained injuries in road mishap on March 29 at Rajpora and was admitted to the Government Medical College, Jammu for treatment. Police said that in GMC ventilator could not be provided to him and he was later, shifted to the Maha Reshi Daya Nand Hospital for treatment wherein, he breathed last. Police said that the after conducting post mortem the body was handed over to the family members for last rites. Meanwhile, in another incident of mishap, Arjun Singh son Suraj Singh resident of Khor under the jurisdiction of police post Jorian sustained injuries, when he was hit by an-unknown vehicle. Police said that Arjun was rushed to the GMC for treatment. Police further said that Ajay Kumar son of Shiv Lal resident of Mehra area of Nagrota sustained wounds when a three wheeler in which he was traveling turned turtle and plunged into a deep gorge at Rajouri. Police rushed to the spot and rescued the injured with the help of locals and shifted him to the GMC for treatment. Police have registered cases and initiated inquest proceeding into the incident. Police said that Happa Sahib Shinday son of Malha Ji Shinday resident of Ahmed Nagar, Maharashtra sustained minor injuries when he was boarding Jhelum train from platform number 1 at the Jammu Railway Station, last evening. Police said that Happa was immediately rushed to the GMC for treatment, wherein his condition was stated to be stable. Besides, Suram Chand, 24 son of Satpal resident of Plainwala in Akhnoor made abortive bid in his life by consuming poisonous substance at his resident.
Family said that he was found unconscious in his room and later, rushed to the GMC for treatment. Doctors told News Agency of Kashmir that his condition is out of danger. Police have registered case and started investigation
