| Satwant Kour joins NC | | | Early Times report
Samba, Apr14- Satwant Kour, the BJP candidate, who unsuccessfully contested the recently held assembly election from Samba constituency, today joined National Conference at a public gathering at Samba.
Minister for Industries and CAPD Surjeet Singh Slathia, Chief Minister’s Political Advisor Devender Singh Rana and Provincial President Jammu Kashmir National Conference Jammu province Rattan Lal Gupta were present on the occasion.
Deposing faith in the leadership of National Conference, Satwant Kour said that she was confident that National Conference under Dr. Farooq Abdullah and the government headed by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah would bring prosperity to all areas of the state and ensure equitable development without any consideration.
Satwant Kour had polled over 12700 votes in the assembly elections fighting on the ticket of BJP.
