Health Awareness & Medical Camp Organized

Jammu, Mar 11: A Health Awareness & Medical Camp was successfully organized by Vedaan Health Care Unit in association with Apollo Diagnostic Laboratory at Senior Citizens Rejuvenation Centre (SCRC), Trikuta Nagar. The camp provided free medical check-ups, including tests for sugar, uric acid, and blood pressure, under the supervision of Dr. Richa Sharma, Microbiologist, along with her expert team.
K.S. Samyal, President of SCRC, presided over the event, while Dr. Shreyansh Kumar Jain, State Yoga Commissioner, attended as the Guest of Honour.
Various diagnostic tests such as blood tests, urine tests, sputum analysis, FNAC, and biopsy were conducted, benefiting 45 patients.
T.C. Taggar, General Secretary, SCRC, welcomed the participants and highlighted the centre’s mission of promoting health and wellness among senior citizens.
Dr. Shreyansh Kumar Jain emphasized the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle through balanced nutrition, regular exercise, proper hydration, and routine medical check-ups. He also stressed the need for mental and spiritual well-being through social engagement, meditation, and positive thinking.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Romesh Kumar, Financial Secretary, SCRC.
The initiative was widely appreciated for its valuable health benefits and expert consultations, contributing to the well-being of the elderly community.
