ADGP Armed visited IRP 22nd Battalion Kishtwar

JAMMU, Mar 11: Anand Jain, IPS, ADGP Armed J&K along with Ms. Sarah Rizvi, IPS and Rajinder Singh, SSP APCR Jammu visited IRP-22nd and all Coy headquarters of the Battalion deployed predominantly at far flung areas of District Kishtwar to assess its functioning. Upon his arrival, the ADGP Armed Police was presented Guard of Honour by a contingent of IRP 22nd Bn. Besides, conducted thorough inspection of all the battalion establishments, the ADGP visited administrative block, Barracks, Mess, Kot, MT Fleet, Canteens, Stores and the Battalion premises. A Darbar was also conducted on the occasion in which the ADGP Armed stressed upon the personnel to maintain highest degree of discipline and punctuality.
Anand Jain IPS, stressed upon the Officers to maintain cleanliness and conduct cleanliness drives regularly around the complex area to maintain hygiene. It was also impressed upon the concerned Commandant to get the medical examination of all the personnel conducted in order to improve the overall health standards.
Stressing upon the personnel for more physical activity at battalion level, the ADGP directed the Officers to restart PT, Refresher Course & outdoor trainings of personnel to make them physically fit in order to improve their physical strength to deal with the challenging situations.
The Officers were impressed upon to devise mechanism for physical activities and issuance of sports roaster, so that the battalion personnel will get opportunity to nurture their talents for better opportunities in the arena of sports and imbibe sense of responsibility. The ADGP Armed also impressed upon the officers for more innovations in the disposal of routine office procedures and to introduce E-Office mode, for establishing digital workplace and minimise paper work. Sarah Rizvi, DIG, IR stressed upon manpower to have commitment towards duties. She stressed upon following curriculum towards refresher course. Among others the officers who were present on the occasion include, Sh. Javid Iqbal SSP Kishtwar, Mushim Ahmad, SSP, Commandant- IR-22nd Bn and other officers.
