Ramnagar, Mar 11: GDC Ramnagar successfully organized a Lecture-cum-Interactive Session on Financial Literacy for students and faculty under the patronage of Prof. (Dr.) Bhavnaish Chand Anthal, Principal GDC Ramnagar. The session aimed to enhance financial awareness and equip participants with essential financial management skills.
The event featured Mr. Abhinav Mahajan (Branch Incharge, Udhampur, JKBFSL) and Mr. Gourav Sharma (Sales Executive, JKBFSL) as resource persons. The programme commenced with a warm welcome address by Dr. Pankaj Sharma (HOD English), who briefed the audience about the resource persons and highlighted the significance of financial literacy in today’s fast-paced economic environment.
During the session, the resource persons provided valuable insights into various financial concepts, including budgeting, savings, investments, and financial planning. They emphasized the importance of making informed financial decisions and discussed various schemes and opportunities available for students and faculty to secure their financial future. The interactive nature of the session allowed participants to raise queries and seek clarifications on financial matters, making the discussion highly engaging and informative.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Prof. (Dr.) Bhavnaish Chand Anthal appreciated the efforts of the organizers in conducting such an insightful session.
