JKHCBA holds condolence meeting for senior Advocate AV Gupta

JAMMU, Mar 12: The J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu (JKHCBAJ) held a condolence meeting today, presided over by K. Nirmal Kotwal (President, JKHCBAJ), to mourn the untimely demise of Senior Advocate and Former Bar President, A.V. Gupta, who passed away on March 11, 2025.
In honor of his legacy, Bar members abstained from work in all courts, including the Hon'ble High Court, Subordinate Courts, Tribunals, and Revenue Courts/Forums. His exceptional legal services and contributions to the Bar were remembered by all present.
The meeting was attended by Former Bar Presidents D.K. Khajuria, Sr. Adv. Ved Raj Wazir, S. Surinder Singh, S. D.S. Saini, A.K. Sawhney, V.B. Gupta, B.S. Manhas, Sr. Adv. Surinder Kour, Raghu Mehta, Pawan Kumar Maini, Sheikh Shakeel Ahmed, Pawan Kumar Kundal, Radha Sharma, Deepika Mahajan, and other distinguished advocates.
All members prayed for strength and courage for the bereaved family in this difficult time.
