KISHTWAR, Mar 12: The Department of Handicrafts organized an Interaction cum awareness Programme here at Poochal with the aim to reach out and register maximum number of artisans with the department to enable them to avail various credit link schemes.
The program was led by Assistant Director Handicrafts Pardeep Shan. He highlighted different training programs and the departmental schemes, including the Credit Card Scheme, financial support opportunities for artisans and the educational scholarship for their children.
During the program, informational pamphlets outlining the departmental schemes and opportunities for artisans were distributed among all participants, ensuring that they were well-informed about the support available to them.
