Randhawa inspects GB Pant Hospital, emphasizes improved healthcare facilities

JAMMU, Mar 12: Senior BJP leader and MLA Bahu, Vikram Randhawa, today visited GB Pant Hospital, Satwari, to assess the available healthcare facilities being provided to the general public.
Accompanied by CEO Cantonment Board, Amit Kumar Mane, Bharat Bhushan (Member, Cantonment Board), and a team of distinguished doctors including Dr. Gurvinder Singh, Dr. Sewata Sharma, Dr. Anjana Sharma, Dr. Hansy Sharma, Dr. Jyoti Kour, and Asmita Mane, he engaged in a thorough inspection of the hospital infrastructure and services.
During the visit, the Hospital Administration briefed the MLA about the hospital's functioning, patient care, and challenges faced by the medical fraternity. Randhawa, while appreciating the dedication of the medical staff, assured them that necessary steps would be taken to strengthen the healthcare infrastructure at the hospital. He stressed the importance of efficient patient care, timely availability of medicines, and improved sanitation standards within the premises.
Expressing concern over certain shortcomings, MLA Randhawa directed the hospital administration to ensure seamless coordination between medical and administrative departments for the smooth functioning of the facility. He reiterated BJP's commitment to enhancing public healthcare services under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and emphasized that no citizen should be deprived of quality medical treatment.
"The Central Government is committed to ensuring state-of-the-art medical care in Jammu & Kashmir. We will take up the matter with higher authorities to address infrastructural gaps and improve healthcare services for the people," he assured.
Randhawa laid stress on the need to develop this hospital so that it can be highly useful in case of emergencies. He further emphasized that healthcare services should also be made available to the people during night hours to ensure round-the-clock medical assistance.
The senior BJP leader also encouraged the hospital staff to continue their selfless service towards humanity and assured them of full support in resolving any grievances.
