Jammu, Apr 15: The chairman of National Sikh Front, (NSF) Sardar Varendar Jeet Singh has taken a strong note of Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh’s remarks over the death sentence given to Afzal Guru, who attacked Indian parliament some year back. As per press release chairman said, PM while replying to Journalist question on Afzal Guru, PM said that judiciary will take its course of action. NSF chief said congress party is playing the politics of double standard and added when an accused like Kehar Singh wrongly alleged to be involved in making conspiracy of killing of Indira Gandhi was hanged immediately then why central govt is soft on Guru, who has been found guilty by apex Court. He said Congress while giving tickets to Jagdish Tytler and Sajjan Kumar did not consider that Nanavati Commission had found them guilty. By facing the humiliation they realize their mistake. Singh further said that in Congress Govt of 1984 thousands of Sikhs were massacred beside in 1989 on January 13 in the rule of National Conference in J&K, Sikhs were murdered. Now, both these anti Sikh parties are contesting the elections together. We appeal to the public to be conscious of these parties and do not vote these parties, he said.
