Isha Yoga volunteer leads meditation session at DPS Udhampur

JAMMU, Mar 15: The serene and picturesque surroundings of Delhi Public School Udhampur (DPSU), recently became a hub of tranquility as Atheer Anna, a full-time volunteer of the Isha Yoga Foundation and Isha Yoga Practitioner conducted a rejuvenating meditation session for faculty members of DPSU. The event, aimed at transforming individuals, promoting mental well-being and inner peace among participants through Nada Yoga, Nadi Yoga practices.
With a backdrop of Aadiyogi and a tranquil atmosphere, Atheer Anna ji , Full time volunteer from Isha Yoga Foundation, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu guided attendees through various meditation techniques, emphasizing the importance of mindfulness and self-awareness in today's fast-paced world. The session began with an introduction to the principles of meditation, followed by practical exercises that encouraged participants to connect with their inner selves and harness the power of breath.
"The benefits of meditation are profound," Atheer Anna stated during the session. "It not only enhances concentration but also fosters a sense of calm and clarity, allowing individuals to navigate the challenges of daily life with greater ease."
The staff along with Management and Principal of the School actively participated in the session, which was filled with moments of silence and reflection. Feedback from participants highlighted the positive impact of the meditation techniques taught by Atheer Anna, with many expressing a desire for more such initiatives in the future.
Worthy MD of the School, Mr. Vivek Gupta, Director Academics of the School, Ms. Sucheta Gupta have firm belief in such practices that enhances mental wellbeing of the staff. They highlighted the importance of these yogic practices in one's life.
Principal of the School, Dr. Kunal Anand emphasized the importance of such sessions, stating, "Incorporating meditation into our routine can significantly enhance our students' focus and emotional resilience. We are grateful to Atheer Anna and the Isha Yoga Foundation for bringing this transformative experience to our school."
Atheer Anna, who has dedicated his life to spreading the teachings of Sri Jaggi Vasudev (Sadhguru), believes that meditation can lead to a profound shift in how individuals experience life. The session concluded with a collective expression of gratitude, leaving participants inspired to carry the practice of meditation into their daily lives.
