PLS-J releases two Punjabi books and new book series publication

JAMMU, Mar 15: Punjabi Lekhak Sabha, Jammu (PLS-J) organized a literary function at K.L. Saigal Auditorium, Writers' Club, Cultural Academy, Jammu to release two Punjabi books and a new Punjabi book series publication.
The released books include:
'Sairan Bahrley Mulkan Diyan' by renowned Punjabi and Hindi fiction writer & poet, Dr. Monojit.
'Aalochana De Ang Sang' by esteemed Punjabi writer R.S. Rajan from Kashmir. Additionally, a new Punjabi book series 'Asin' was launched, with an editorial board comprising Dr. Monojit, Jang S. Verman, Harjit Singh Uppal, and R.S. Rajan, and Dr. Baljit Singh Raina as the managing editor. The event was graced by Harwinder Kour (JKAS), Secretary, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL), as the chief guest, with Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn, former Additional Secretary, JKAACL, presiding over the function.
Two academic papers analyzing the released books were presented by Dr. Harsimran Singh and Charanjeet Singh from the University of Jammu, highlighting their content and literary significance.
In his welcome address, Dr. Baljit Raina, President, PLS-J, extended warm greetings to the attendees and emphasized the importance of promoting Punjabi literature through new publications.
Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn, in his presidential address, praised Dr. Monojit's book for its blend of satire and personal expression. He also acknowledged Dr. Baljit Singh Raina's efforts in fostering Punjabi literature in Jammu & Kashmir.
The authors Dr. Monojit and R.S. Rajan shared insights into their literary journey and the creative process behind their books. Prominent intellectuals and writers, including Dr. Shah Nawaz, Rattan Singh Kanwal, Harjit Singh Uppal, Ajit Singh Mastana, and Devinder Singh Vishavnagrik, also spoke on the significance of the released books.
