CHARANAGRI, Mar 15: The Indian Army, under the aegis of Operation Sadbhavna, successfully conducted a Veterinary Aid Camp in village Charanagri to provide essential veterinary services to local livestock owners.
The camp witnessed an overwhelming response from the local population, with a large number of farmers bringing their animals for medical examination and treatment. A total of 1,158 animals of different categories received veterinary care, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive healthcare measures.
In addition to medical assistance, livestock owners were educated on best management practices to ensure improved health and productivity of their animals. Experts provided guidance on disease prevention, nutrition, and general animal welfare, helping farmers adopt sustainable and modern livestock care techniques.
The initiative was aimed at enhancing rural livelihood opportunities while strengthening the bond between the Indian Army and the local communities. The efforts under Operation Sadbhavna continue to reinforce the Army's commitment to social welfare and nation-building activities in remote and rural areas.
