Akhnoor, Mar 15: In a significant step towards improving power infrastructure, BJP leader and District Development Council (DDC) member Pandit Suresh Sharma inaugurated a 63 KVA transformer in Beyal Mohalla, Panchayat Choura, Block Chowki Choura. Installed at a cost of ₹6.50 lakh, this transformer fulfills a long-pending demand of the local residents, who had been struggling with frequent low-voltage issues. During a Janta Darbar held in the Panchayat, the residents had voiced their grievances regarding the electricity supply. Acknowledging their concerns, Suresh Sharma took immediate action, securing approval for the transformer from the District Development Council fund. With its installation and inauguration today, the people of Beyal Mohalla can now expect a stable and improved power supply. While addressing the gathering, Suresh Sharma reaffirmed his commitment to holistic development, ensuring that every demand of the people is met. He emphasized that transformers are being installed in villages grappling with low voltage, roads are being constructed, and progress is being made in the fields of education and healthcare. He credited these developments to the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, under whose governance the people of Jammu and Kashmir are reaping the benefits of numerous welfare schemes. The people expressed their gratitude to Suresh Sharma for fulfilling their long-standing demand and urged him to continue addressing their concerns with the same dedication.
