DC Poonch reviews functioning of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya

POONCH, Mar 17: Deputy Commissioner Poonch Vikas Kundal, who is also the Chairman of the Vidyalaya Management Committee, chaired a meeting today to review the issues concerning the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya.
The meeting encompassed a range of topics including academic performance, holistic student development, infrastructure challenges and water supply concerns.
Principal Nitin Arora provided an overview of the current status of the school, outlining steps taken to enhance student welfare. He reaffirmed the school's commitment towards delivering quality education and fostering an environment conducive to learning.
The Deputy Commissioner directed SDM Surankote to take immediate action against illegal constructions near the entrance gate of JNV.
To address the water supply issues, the Deputy Commissioner instructed Executive Engineer Jal Shakti to expedite the completion of the pipeline project, ensuring uninterrupted water supply to the Institution. Additionally, the Project Manager of BRO was tasked with clearing debris from the JNV School premises.
The meeting underscores the administration's dedication to improve educational facilities and foster the overall development of students in Poonch.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Medical Officer, Chief Education Officer, Principal JNV, Executive Engineer PWD, Executive Engineer Jal Shakti and others concerned.
