Successful conclusion of Baramulla district Netball Championship

BARAMULLA, Mar 19: The Netball Association of Jammu and Kashmir proudly announces the successful completion of the Baramulla District Netball Championship at PM SHRI Govt. Higher Secondary School, Gund Khawaja Qasim, Patta, Baramulla. The championship, featuring all event categories, saw enthusiastic participation from nearly 120 young athletes representing various schools across the district. The event was graced by several esteemed guests, whose presence added to its success. Sofia Gull, Head of Govt. Middle School Pattan, Baramulla, extended her best wishes to the participants. Other distinguished guests included Haneefa Akthar, Teacher at GMS; Bashir Ahmad Baba, PTI at Madina Public School; Firdous; and Sajad, Physical Education Teacher. Special recognition was also given to official members Akshit Arora, Arjun Soni, Abhishek, and Suraj Maurya, whose contributions were invaluable. Throughout the championship, the young athletes displayed outstanding talent, determination, and teamwork. Their performances underscored the importance of sports in fostering discipline, leadership, and camaraderie among youth. The championship not only highlighted the growing interest in netball among youth but also reinforced the significance of such events in promoting sports culture across Jammu & Kashmir.
