Jammu, Apr 15- National Conference has mortgaged its ideology, identity to the Congress for its greed of power said A K Sawhney Advocate and Convenor of the PDP’s campaign committee while addressing a meeting today,
Sawhney said that just three months back the NC and Congress were at dagger ends and were fighting the Assembly elections against each other. Now, all of a sudden both the parties have become "brothers" just for the sake of power.
National Conference has mortgaged the identity of the party, its ideology its cadre, its people and supporters to the Congress a junior partner in the state just for the greed of power.
He said that the issue of the Autonomy for the state stands closed now once for all and not even a single statement has been issued by the party leaders in these Lok Sabha elections on the plank of Autonomy; while as the whole Assembly election was on Autonomy. Where has the ideology of autonomy gone asked Sawhney?
He said what to talk of bringing autonomy for the state; NC has lost its own autonomy and has become a slave -spouse of the Congress and it seems that the NC has mortgaged its cadre to the Congress. He dared the NC to bring the Autonomy resolution and pointed out that NC can not do anything that would annoy the Congress, therefore the morale of the NC cadre has become all time low after alliance with the Congress.
