JAMMU, Mar 20: NSS unit of NCE celebrated "World Oral Health day" in collaboration with ICDS at Domana. The theme of this year was "A happy mouth is a happy mind "focusing on the connection between oral health and mental being. The volunteers performed a skit that highlighted consequences of neglecting oral hygiene. The emphasis was laid on the significance of maintaining good oral health and also draws the intention of the people towards the various issues resulting from poor oral care. The volunteers encourage the audience to adopt better oral health practices, stressing the importance of brushing teeth with correct technique, eating nutritious food. The audience responded positively and also shared their personal experience related to oral health. The entire prograame highlighted significance of oral health in a way that was both engaging and informative.
