HARYANA, Mar 20: Haryana Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini recently presented the state budget in the Haryana Assembly, expressing deep reverence for Guru Ravidass Ji, which is a commendable step. Balbir Ram Rattan, National General Secretary of Guru Ravidas Vishwa Mahapeeth, General Secretary of the British Ravidasia Heritage Foundation (Indian Branch), and a member of Begampura Vishwa Mahasabha, welcomed the Chief Minister's statement. He mentioned that in honour of Guru Ravidass ji, the Chief Minister reverently and lovingly quoted his famous couplet: "Aisa chahun raj main, jahan mile saban ko ann, Shhot bade sam basey, Raidas rahe prasann." This couplet reflects Guru Ravidass ji's principles of equality and social harmony, advocating for equal rights and access to resources for all. In his address, CM Saini emphasized that his government is committed to realizing this ideal, ensuring equality, social justice, and inclusive development in society. Balbir Ram Ratan stated that this gesture is not just a tribute to Guru Ravidass ji but also a reflection of the Chief Minister's deep reverence and respect for the entire Ravidassia community. On behalf of various social organizations dedicated to spreading Guru Ravidass ji's teachings, Balbir Ram Rattan, expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister. He noted that honouring Guru ji's teachings on the platform of a state assembly signifies that by drawing inspiration from great saints of the nation, society can move forward more effectively in strengthening equality, unity, and brotherhood. This act by CM Nayab Singh Saini indicates that under his leadership, the Haryana government is committed to promoting social welfare schemes, uplifting the underprivileged sections of society, and building an inclusive society. Balbir expressed hope that the Nayab Singh Saini government, inspired by Guru ji's life, will implement policies in education, employment, and social justice that will help uplift every section of society.
