Central University of Jammu Achieves Prestigious Ranking in IIRF Rankings 2025

Jammu, Mar 20: Central University of Jammu under the dynamic leadership and mentorship of Prof. Sanjeev Jain, Honorable Vice Chancellor marked its growing presence on the national stage by securing the 2nd position in UT of Jammu & Kashmir and 83rd position in the Best B-Schools (Government) overall category in the prestigious IIRF (Indian Institutional Ranking Framework) Rankings 2025. The rankings were released based on a comprehensive evaluation of parameters crucial to higher management education. With an impressive overall index Central University of Jammu has been ranked on various critical parameters such as Placement Performance; Teaching, Learning Resources & Pedagogy; Research, Industry Income & Integration; Placement Strategy and Support; Future Orientation; External Perception and International Outlook.
Prof. Jaya Bhasin, Dean School of Business Studies, CU Jammu extended her gratitude to the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor for providing the vibrant environment for growth of the faculty, Scholars and Students. She stated that this recognition in the IIRF Rankings 2025 is a proud moment for the Central University of Jammu community and this reflects the School’s collective commitment to building an institution of national importance that not only imparts quality education but also shapes responsible leaders of tomorrow.
Prof. Bhasin emphasized that Central University of Jammu has consistently focused on excellence in teaching, fostering innovation through research, building strong industry linkages, and creating a vibrant academic ecosystem.
She mentioned that although Central University of Jammu is one of the youngest Central University in the country, it has rapidly gained momentum due to the unwavering dedication of its faculty, staff, students, and all stakeholders. She reiterated the institute’s steadfast vision of becoming a globally recognized management institution, rooted in Indian values and committed to nation-building.
Earlier Prof. Neelika Arora, HoD Department of MSCM, School of Business Studies, CU Jammu stated that the recognition in the IIRF Rankings 2025 is a reflection of the University’s academic rigor, dynamic curriculum, industry-linked programs, and research-driven approach.
Dr. Ranjeet Kumar Raman HoD, Department of TTM, School of Business Studies added that the School of Business Studies is committed to nurturing responsible leaders equipped with global perspectives and grounded in Indian values.
He further emphasized that Central University of Jammu will continue to innovate and evolve in alignment with emerging global trends and national priorities in management education.
These rankings affirm the University’s strong commitment to academic excellence, impactful research, innovative pedagogy, and placement support. The School’s emphasis on a future-driven approach and emphasis on Consultancy Project has earned it growing recognition and respect among students, recruiters, and academic peers.
Central University of Jammu continues to make rapid strides, driven by a strong emphasis on innovation, inclusivity, and industry engagement. The School has been building a strong academic and research foundation while also focusing on National and international collaborations. The research papers of faculty members have been published in A*, A&B Category & Scopus indexed journals. The School has bagged Consultancy projects of nearly Rs. 2 Crore in previous years and all the students have been able to secure good positions at National level.
