Inter-School Bocce Ball Tournament concludes successfully

JAMMU, Mar 22: Sun Shine Public School, Langotian The highly anticipated interschool BOCCE Ball Tournament, organized by Reffa Boules India Federation, concluded on a high note, showcasing exceptional talent and sportsmanship among young athletes. The tournament saw the participation of more than 70 students from various schools, competing with great enthusiasm and determination. The event aimed to promote the sport of BOCCE Ball among students and foster a spirit of teamwork and healthy competition.
The chief guest, Sharat Chander, (DSP PCR) graced the occasion and encouraged the participants with his inspiring words. He emphasized the importance of sports in students' overall development and lauded the organizers for their efforts in promoting bocce ball at the school level. On this occasion, the Principal of Sun Shine Public School, R.K. Sharma, was the guest of honor and praised the students for their dedication and sportsmanship. The event was supervised by Sunny Nanda, General Secretary of Reffa Boules India Federation, who ensured its smooth execution and fair play among participants.
Winners were felicitated with trophies and certificates, and the event concluded with a commitment to making BOCCE ball more popular among young athletes. The Medal Winners are U-12 Yrs Boys : Urvansh Kumar (Gold), Samer Katru (Silver) Vikrant Bazila (Bronze). Under-14yrs: Harsh Kumar (Gold), Anmol Mehra (Silver), Aryan Mehra (Bronze). Open Solo: Yuvraj,/Gagandeep Singh (Silver). Under-12 Yrs Girls : Kavya Kaith (Gold), Harshita (Silver), Khushi Sohal (Bronze). Under-14yrs : Vaishali Kumari (Gold), Cuenca Raj (Silver), Jaanvi Lakhotra (Bronze) Open Girls : Bhawna Sharma (Gold), Indu Bala (Silver) Mansi Bharti (Bronze).
The match officiated by Sahil Kaith, Gurvansh Choudhary, Kailash, at the vote of thanks by Renu Nanda.
