Poonch, Mar 23: The serene town of Surankote was awash with the Vibrant colors of camaraderie and inclusivity as Indian Army hosted a heartwarming Iftar Party, making a celebration of unity and togetherness during the holy month of Ramadan. Amidst the picturesque backdrop of Surankote, more than 180 members of the local community, religious leaders and personnel from the Armed Forces came together to partake in the joyous occasion.
The event, held on the evening of March 23, was a testament to the spirit of harmony and mutual respect that prevails in the region. As the sun dipped below the horizon, signaling the end of the day’s fast, the aroma of delectable delicacies filled the air.
