JAMMU, Mar 24: Demonstrating its firm resolve against illegal mining activities, Jammu Police has once again taken decisive action under Operation Ploughing. Police Post (PP) Phallian Mandal successfully seized a dumper involved in illegal transportation of mining material within the jurisdiction.
The operation was carried out on the directions of SSP Jammu and under the close supervision of SP City South and SDPO South. Upon verification, the dumper was found operating without legal authorization, contributing to environmental degradation and loss of natural resources. The DMO Jammu has been duly informed, and further legal proceedings have been initiated.
