VIJAYPUR, Mar 25: The Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI), Vijaypur, conducted special lectures for trainees undergoing the three-month Upper Class Course at the institute.
Two eminent speakers were invited:
Subash Chander Gupta, Retd. District & Sessions Judge, delivered a lecture on UAPA cases, explaining its key provisions and significance.
Pawan Khajuria, Retd. Joint Director Prosecution, discussed the importance of FIRs and remand under the amended criminal laws of 2023, highlighting their evidentiary value under BNSS and the new FIR regulations.
The session was attended by trainees and staff, including SSP Dushyant Sharma, Principal PTTI Vijaypur, who emphasized the importance of these lectures in enhancing police personnel's legal knowledge. He thanked the guest speakers for their valuable insights.
