Jammu police organizes Tug of War Competition under Civic Action Programme

JAMMU, Mar 25: As part of the ongoing Civic Action Programme (CAP), the final match of the Tug of War (Girls) was held today at Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Bishnah, featuring a competitive face-off between the Staff/Students of GHSS Bishnah and the Women's Team of District Police Jammu. After an intense match, the Women's Team of District Police Jammu emerged victorious, defeating the GHSS Bishnah team.
The event was graced by Principal GHSS, Ms. Anju Gupta, as the Chief Guest. Also present were SP Headquarters Jammu, Sh. Irshad Hussain Rather-JKPS, and SHO Bishnah, Inspector Sushil Choudhary, along with local residents and media representatives. The winning team was awarded a cash prize and a trophy in recognition of their efforts. Speaking on the occasion, SP Headquarters Jammu emphasized the J&K Police's commitment to engaging youth in sports as a positive initiative to steer them away from drug abuse and social evils.
The event received widespread appreciation from the local community, particularly the youth, who lauded the police for promoting healthy and constructive engagements in Bishnah and surrounding areas.
