IGNOU June 2025 Term-End Exams from June 2; DEB ID Mandatory

JAMMU, Mar 25: The June 2025 Term-end Examinations of the IGNOU for various Academic Programmes offered by the University through ODL & Online Programmes (Pen & Paper & CBT Mode) are likely to commence from 2nd June 2025 across the Country including Jammu region. Around 35000-40000 examinees are expected to register themselves for appearing in June 2025 Term End Examinations under Jammu region and Regional Centre Jammu has established Examination Centres in all districts of the region with Examination Centre at each of the ten district Headquarters so that the students do not have to travel longer distances for appearing in the exams", said Dr. Sandeep Gupta, Regional Director, Regional Centre Jammu. The University has made it mandatory for its students to create DEB ID, i.e., DEB (Distance Education Bureau) ID. The university had already notified that DEB ID shall be created by all learners as per the UGC guidelines.
The examination form shall be submitted through the Student Portal on the Samarth Platform. Students shall be required to login to their student account at https://ignou.samarth.edu.in . If a student is already registered on the Student Portal, he/she may login to submit the examination form. If the student is not registered, he/she needs to first register on the portal by clicking NEW REGISTRATION and following the instructions. In case of any difficulty in registering on the Student Portal, students may seek assistance from the Regional Centre by dropping a mail on [email protected].
It is also informed that the students of January 2023 admission cycle and later are required to submit the online fee for Project Evaluation and Practical Examination, along with the Term-End Examination Fee which can be submitted on the same Portal online.
