2 injured in assault, three wounds in road mishaps, house wife made bid on life

Jammu, April 16 (NAK): Two persons sustained injuries in assault, three other wounded in different road mishaps across Jammu while a house wife made bid on her life today.
Police identified injured persons in assault case as Zorawar Singh son of Baldev Sigh resident and Nand Kishore son of Kulbhushan both the resident of Gura Slathia under the jurisdiction of police station Vijaypur.
Police said that Zorawar Singh and Nand Kishore sustained injuried after they clashed with each other over some issue at Gura Slathia. Police said that local people of the area intervened in the clash and hospitalized both the injuries.
Meanwhile, police have also registered a case at Police Station Vijaypur in this regard and started investigation to ascend reason behind the clash.
While three persons, also sustained injuries in road mishaps at different places since this morning.
Police said that Mohammed Khalid son of Saif Ali resident Manjakote sustained injuries when he was hit by an unknown vehicle while he was walking on the road at Sunderbani.
Police rushed to the shot and shifted the injuried to the hospital for treatment.
Police said that Uttam Kumar son of Soba Ran resident of Aghor sustained injuries when he was hit by a van at Khor in Akhnoor and injured him. People with the local police shifted the injuried to Government Medical College, (GMC) Jammu for treatment.
In another accident, police said that Abhinav son of Rajinder Kumar resident of RS Pura injuried when his scooter slept on the road. Police said he sustained minor injuries; however, he was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Police have registered cases and started investigation in this regard.
While Sunita Sharma wife of Deepak Sharma resident of Shakti Nagar made abortive bid on her life by consuming poisonous substance at her residence.
Her, in-laws said that they found Sunita in unconscious condition in her room and immediately rushed to the Government Medical College, for treatment.
Police said that reason behind the abortive bid is still not known while family members have been denying any incident which might have forced her to take the extreme step.
Police, however, has registered a case at the concerned police station and started investigation to ascent the cause behind the extreme step.
