VC SKUAST-Jammu launches new website with enhanced features

JAMMU, Mar 26: Prof. B.N. Tripathi, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, SKUAST-Jammu inaugurated the university's new website (www.skuast.org) today, which boasts several upgraded features. The updated website aims to provide a better user experience through improved accessibility, mobile responsiveness, dynamic content and more user-friendly navigation. Key additions include screen reader compatibility and enhanced student-related information. Prof. Tripathi commended the team led by Dr. Hema Tripathi, Associate Director Extension along with Dr. Manish K. Sharma, Professor & Head, Statistics and Computer Science and Nodal Officer, Data Centre and their team for their efforts in enhancing the university's digital presence.
Dr. Manish Kumar Sharma, Nodal Officer of the NKN Lab & Data Centre presented the new website's features to the university's officers emphasizing the website's modern, dynamic design. Th launch was attended by Dr. S.K. Gupta, Director Research, Dr. Rajinder Peshin, Director Education, Dr. Sanjay Khar, Director Planning & Monitoring, Dr. Amrish Vaid, Director Extension, Dr Sushil Sharma, Dean, Faculty of Agricultural Engineering, Dr Rajesh Katoch, Dean, Faculty of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry, Dr J.S Soodan , Dean, Faculty of Diary Technology, Dr R.K Salgotra, Director Institute of Biotechnology, Dr. Sanjay Guleria, Dean Faculty of Basic Sciences, Dr. Sudhakar Dwivedi, Dean Student Welfare, Dr R.K Samnotra, University Librarian, Madan Lal, Comptroller, Dr. M.S Bhadwal, Controller Examination and Dr. Hema Tripathi, Assoc. The new website reflects SKUAST-Jammu's commitment to improving digital accessibility and user engagement.
