Rajouri: The polling staff at the booth no 115 at Chodhrinaar in this district had to face public ire after an Electronic Voting Machine, EVM developed a fault during the first phase of parliamentary elections in the state.
Reports reaching Press Bureau of India said that the people who had lined up outside the polling booth no 115 at Chodhrinaar in Rajouri district to cast their votes turned furious and thrashed the polling staff after an EVM developed fault.
Reports said that only four votes had been cast when the machine developed snag. Later the officials sent another EVM to the booth where polling resumed at 11:30 am
