Cop rewarded by DIG Jammu

Jammu, April, 16: Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel saved a precious life of an employee deployed for poll duty when they timely rushed him to hospital on foot covering a distance of about 5 kilometres in Samba district today as the first phase of Jammu Lok Sabha Parliamentary constituency was held, covering four border districts of Jammu, Samba, Rajouri and Poonch.
Reports revealed that a polling officer namely Sudershan Singh (Teacher) after completion of poll process at Reyod PB No.81 Samba Goran sector suddenly fell ill . His condition worsened but was immediately taken by the policemen on duty on their shoulders covering a distance about 5 kilometres on foot. The policemen have been suitable rewarded by the DIG of Police Jammu-Kathua Range Mr. A.Q.Manhas for their good performance.
